WHAT TO EXPECT:
Our Coaching Curriculum is based on the WISDOM STORY coaching for kids' program which is a child-centered, goal oriented and proven coaching system. Workshops are online and held for 45 minutes. Coaching workshops follow the S.T.O.R.Y. process outlined below:
S - At each workshop, we will explore a story! Through the story, children see the impact of a problem that the characters face and how mindset skills are used to resolve this relatable problem.
T - bookTALK time: We discuss questions to explore the story and the skill being taught to help children apply the skills to their own lives. This is where ah-ha moments and transformation happen.
O - Organized Activity which allows children to strengthen their learning with an activity that gives children a visual reminder of the skill that they can take home.
R - Review what they are discovering. Parents receive a take home sheet so that they can continue the conversation at home. This deepens learning between sessions and encourages their actual application of skills to their everyday life.
Y - YES! At the start of each new workshop, we will review the prior skill learned. And then continue the adventure with our next skill book and mindset skill!
